First of all; try and upload a photograph, 'a picture paints a thousand words!' Don't worry if you are not sure how to do it, we will help you. Generally; the more information you put into an ad the more replies you will get. An ad like 'man looking for a woman , 18-30' will get very few replies indeed; it says nothing about the writer and nothing (beyond an age range) about what he is looking for. Try to write the same way as you speak; and start by describing yourself. For instance, what is your job? Where do you live? Do you own your own home? Are you fit and healthy? Do you consider your self attractive, or intelligent, or a fun person to be with? How tall are you? How would you describe your personality? What color hair have you? Is it long or short? Can you cook? What kind of food do you like? What are your hobbies? What do you enjoy doing? What is your favorite music? Do you have hopes and ambitions for the future? Do you have any pet hates? How do you feel about pets, or children? Is religion or politics important to you? How far could you travel to meet the right person? Secondly, I would say a few words about the type of person you would like to meet BUT please only mention those characteristics that really matter to you! If you really want to meet someone who is tall with blonde hair and blue eyes then fair enough, but you may put off the shorter, dark haired one with gray eyes who could be absolutely PERFECT for you. You are a unique person; there is no-one else in the whole world who is just like you. Your ad should show this.
